For all of you who attended our event on Monday, here are the recipes!
1 1 (15 ounce) can organic black-eyed peas
2 1 (15 ounce) can organic black beans, rinsed and drained
3 1 (15 ounce)organic frozen whole kernel corn, drained
4 1lb fresh salsa
5 1/2 cup chopped organic green bell pepper
6 1 (4 ounce) bottled diced jalapeno peppers
7 1 cup organic Italian-style salad dressing
8 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
mix ingredients together and chill overnight.
Gluten Free Pizza Mix
1 Bob’s Red Mill Gluten Free Pizza Crust Mix
2 cage free organic eggs
2 tbsp organic cold pressed extra virgin olive oil
1 med jar organic pizza sauce
1/2 lb organic shredded mild cheddar/monteray jack cheese made
1/2 lb organic shredded mozzarella cheese
make pizza crust according to directions using eggs and oil
add pizza sauce and then cheese. Place any additional toppings on and bake for 7-9 minutes
Homemade Chicken Wings
24 organic, air dried chicken wings (or legs if you prefer)
1/2 stick organic butter
4 Tablespoons Franks Hot Sauce (or to taste)
1 Teaspoon cold pressed organic olive oil
Grill wings on each side for 10-15 minutes with the grill lid closed.
Mix butter, olive oil, and hot sauce on low heat prior to grilling. Stir when melted and remove to sit at room temperature to thicken while wings are on the grill.
Let wings rest 5 minutes after removing from the grill. Brush on wing sauce.
